All staff receive safeguarding training and regular updates. Staff are expected to act immediately on concerns, speak to the safeguarding team and follow the school's safeguarding procedures.
- Annual safeguarding and child protection training
- Keeping Children Safe in Education updates
- regular safeguarding briefings and scenario-based refreshers
- Prevent, online safety and safer recruitment training for relevant staff
- medical and first-aid training appropriate to staff roles
- clear induction and safeguarding procedures for new staff
Safeguarding concerns are recorded and monitored on CPOMS so that actions, decisions and outcomes can be tracked securely and oversight remains strong.
